Kerri Brewer is a photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. She is a nearly native Texan, who discovered her love of all things photographic in a high school, and later moved to New York to attend the School of Visual Arts. At SVA she studied a variety of classic mediums, including painting and ceramics, and graduated with honors from the BFA photography department. While still in school, Kerri began apprenticing under many top photographers, including Maria Robledo, and was fortunate enough to spend two years at the iconic Gourmet Magazine.

Kerri's work has been seen in various national publications including the Texas Observer, New York Magazine, Brides, and New York Times. Her client list includes up and coming jewelry designer Burkindy, revolutionary catering company, Pinch Food Design, and country singer and songwriter Cooper Boone. She is also a regular contributor to Gilt Taste.

Kerri is working on a personal project, a cookbook of family recipes, some passed down as many as five generations. And when not behind the camera can be spotted in her kitchen, shopping for beautiful things, printing in the darkroom, making wood pieces, or playing with her two favorite pups, Elijah and Elliott.
